Participants must arrive on the parade site for check in by 9:00 a.m.
The Lexington African American Sports Hall of Fame/Roots & Heritage Festival 3K Run/Walk will begin at 8:00a.m. prior to the Parade. Therefore, parade participants must enter the route for check-in from the Race Street side rather than the MLK side. No entry will be available from MLK until the Run/Walk is completed.
Detailed load-in maps, staging assignments, arrival instructions, and other important parade information will be emailed to parade participants in early September.
All entries (COMPLETED ENTRY FORM, ENTRY FEE) must be REGISTERED (BY MAIL) and PAID (online OR CASHIER’S CHECK/MONEY ORDER) by SEPTEMBER 1. NO PERSONAL CHECKS.
